The diving school
The activity is supervised by professionals. Beginners as well as experienced divers will be accompanied throughout their activity in order to discover the seabed that borders the island. Scuba diving, snorkeling, the variety is not missing here.
The Ouanalao Dive Center will offer you various types of exploration dives as well as training courses for all levels. Affiliated with different diving organizations, specialized in SSI and FFESSM training with the possibility of PADI certifications in order to find a complete training, adapted to your desires and your needs.
The equipment
Ouanalao Dive is a SCUBAPRO partner center, we are equipped with steel tanks of different sizes and volumes according to your preferences. We have wetsuits for men and women in shorty or long for children and adults. For your snorkeling trips, we provide all the equipment. We also have at your disposal life jackets or floating noodles for your safety.
The boat
A 31 foot Boston Whaler powered by two 300 HP MERCURY 4 stroke engines. A comfortable support that has been modified to match the activity offering several launching possibilities and an easy exit from the water. On board you will find a shower, music and especially a good mood.
The team
Turenne Laplace
Native of the island, Turenne has had his head in the water since he was a child, whether practicing board sports, snorkeling, diving or sailing. He will make you discover with passion and patience the diving sites that border the island and that he knows like the back of his hand. State certified (BEES1), Turenne is also an SSI instructor. He created Ouanalao Dive in 2004 to make it a full-fledged center where friendliness and seriousness are the watchwords. In 2007 he created the O'Corail restaurant which recently became Ti Corail in association with the chef Yann Vinsot. Turenne is also very invested in the life of the island and in particular in the preservation of the sea bed. He created the association "Ouanalao reef" and participated in the installation of artificial reefs, including the "Artireef" project at Pointe Milou.
Nina Bonetto
Young instructor who grew up on the French Riviera. In addition to having evolved with her head under water, she has also practiced sailing from a very young age. Of a joyful nature, willing and very sociable, she will know how to welcome you and put you at ease in a family atmosphere that suits us.
